Dr Yves Lepelletier (MSc, PhD) obtained an Immunopathology Engineering diploma from “La Sorbonne University” in immuno-pathology and a PhD graduated from “Paris Diderot University Jussieu”, in the “Rules and functions of neurological receptors in immune response”. He received scientific formations from Pasteur Institute, Curie Institute and Necker Hospital. He is the pioneer in Neuropilin (NRP) fields associated with immunology (2002), virology (2006) and cancer (2014) since he demonstrated for the first time the presence and the role of the NRP-1 in the immune synapses (2002) and its immunosuppressive role in the presence of semaphorin-3A (2006). He has identified NRP-1 as the receptor of human retrovirus (HTLV-1) (2006). He initiated the “NRP French Consortium (2007) to generate the first/unique small inhibitory NRP molecule. He authored more than 100 papers including 22 articles in the NRP field (H-factor=48) and 10 patents (4 licensed). He contributed to the development of the first NRP antagonist, and validated it in breast cancer model (2014) and in endométriosis (2019). He is an expert for European commissions & grants from European institut. He found the W-Medphys company to validate new treatments to cure endometriosis and TNC breast cancer (2023).
